Mapping Of The Soul Lighting has accrued static is in the air, movement is taking place my soul is shifting as though the ground is giving way. Rifts and valleys have appeared upon the palette of my soul, cracks run deep to the very marrow, scanning familiar ground finding it has all been changed. Age has little to do with the mapping that has taken place. Strong willed and confident in my beliefs, no one having power over my soul but I was wrong. The territory ahead is not to my liking I will have to start charting my own course in life, being held to this ground in which I sit stagnate without clear direction is not for me. We became one but you hold the maps and keys, you do not even let me suggest a direction without laying blame. Yes I could go on weathering the storms, but I am seeing falling stars and wish upon smoother plains to travel. Enlightenment is upon me I am being charged, there will be change, I will once again have power over my soul. By, Cerenity Note, This is one of my favourite poems but it was written a few years age and I want you to know that this is not my place in life, maybe then but not now. Hi Brian and Sea, This may not be my best work but it started me on a road to understanding and growth. I guess you could say it was the begining to a changing for me and I have learned so much about life sence this poem was written, so that is why I call it my fav. Hi Everyone, Thank you so much for your kind replys, Taking charge has been a long road as well, but one that has made me fight even harder for that in which is fare, honest, and truthful. The battle is not yet over but deffenitly I am more in control. Thank you again. Love, Cerenity |
