~~~In the hope of being together~~~ Our eyes, so often they meet, Flicker emotion, flash desire, Beg for attention, sublime heat, Await redemption; to douse the fire. Yet, we stay back, in solitude, Beings in one's own dark shell, Hiding from a known truth, we brood Seeking compassion; tears swell. We meet often, see each other, But we never seem to come out, From our cocoons, to break through fear, Of getting too close; suffer painful drought. Me, I am still waiting, this soul of mine Stays troubled by my hidden doubts, We seem to get along so well, so fine Guess we even know each other's shouts! Yet when I look into your enchanting eyes See your face lit up, smiles, cheerful as ever I keep asking myself, more than twice 'Why in heaven's name are we not together?' Deep in my forlorn heart though, A feeling does reside, one day we will unite, For we seem to be just waiting, I know to declare our love when the timing is right. I am going no where, will wait forever here, Feeling love's breeze, withstanding sands of time, Believing for sure that one day in future, Together is where we will be; the bells will chime ~~~I remain, in the hope of being together~~~ |

Sudhir, There is a time and place for everything. When the time is right, it will happen!  Keep the patience you have and you'll get what you desire. I see you in my dreams at night when thus our eyes do meet and tenderly I smile at you you nod your head and greet. But as you then slip on by my heart trembles at the heat and silently I cast my eyes downward toward my feet. I give a sigh, as your voice I hear raised up to laugh and give good cheer, knowing that this is all I have near, and to my heart I hold it dear. You wonder if I would have emotion ~ you wonder if I would have devotion? Ah I would give you everything, but here is my finger, wearing a ring. So perhaps, in the future does lay a chance to meet, some given day... until then, know when you see my eyes, they hold more than you've realized. [Ever wonder at your art? Don't! It's always cause for inspiration!] |

Brian, Thanks a lot for your words...and thank you for keeping that hope alive... Karilea, I am impressed by myself here, when I see your response poem...why don't you post it on the forum. It has so much beauty in it, what can I say...there you have touched my heart....Ah! the ring, but then it is of your beloved soul... providence has decided, nothing can be changed...I will not even try...maybe if there is a next life, and if we meet...there is still hope kindled in my heart....there is always a chance that future holds...
