Snow covered mountains gleamed so brightly, Beneath the still moon light. The trees were bowing gracefully, Glistening ice was their delight. Deserted streets were clothed in splendid white. Glowing lamp posts stood so tall. A wintery wonderland it was, One of natures most awesome calls. I relished every moment. Every twinkle in the snow. Yes mother nature was performing, A spectacular midnight show. There were no other footprints, As I happily strolled alone. This time was just for me, Treasured time to search my soul. Glorious was the darkness, That swaddled me that night. Majestic was the moon, That lit my cherished path. But all inspiring was the snow, That gave poetic life. Juliet~ A lovely display of thoughts. 'Glorious was the darkness, That swaddled me that night. Majestic was the moon, That lit my cherished path. But all inspiring was the snow, That gave poetic life.' Wonderfully done. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Juls-I have spent more than one night like this when I lived in areas where the snow flakes fly and I just wanted to tell you that these visions you give take me back to some very beautiful moments in my life when I too walked like this alone. Thank you and well presented. |
