little lost spider ... little lost spider roam slippery's wall no one to spy her take slippery's fall to home on legs of spindly eight but in circles around she goes the around of slow groping's fate no fear, she has no foes stroll 'long floor's jungled rug dirt 'n dust fondling her limbs to each one, she gives a good tug free at last from grimes clinging whims into the trash for a good "how's the vicar?" nothin' to snare save a lick of good liquor up my back for a startling scare with fangs outstretched to sink deep into flesh, fresh be the fare a scurry of thoughts I did think to shoo away with a brush of my hand or to blow across the room instead I gave her a soft place to land away from harm's dark doom little lost spider not lost in the least she's mother -- provider catching hungry's full feast my new friend to come every day a visit from her be welcome to come and visit a lengthy stay a home -- a meal -- and then some M.A. Miller 07.28.00 < !signature--> My calling before me, let quill be my offering; For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.
