In my haunted nights of pain Seeking love to this disdain As remember only you. With bleeding heart of sorrow I turn away my tomorrow As I hate only you. Hope held out by passing hand In this, my darkened shadowland As I regret only you. New fires now warm my tender heart Fires that you once chose to start As I forget only you. |

"As I forget only you" going thru one of those anger phases are we...I love it when the anger comes and helps me put everything in perspective...I regret having to resort to anger...James |

Poet deVine, This one was very good. Haunting in the memory of that certain person. Great image. It is never easy to move on although that is what must be done at times. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

The anger in this piece, was clear as glass. This poem was well composed and well-written. I would like to see your name on this board more because I love reading poems like these... especially when they're short and compact like yours. Nathan Nathan |
