These tears that flow A heart that's full With only sorrow. Hearing my heart tear Looking at a blank wall, Knowing I should rise above And try not fall. Thinking of another hard day, Wishing there was another way. Knowing I'm going to be depressed, For the years of feelings I've repressed. Knowing that I'm going to shed more tears, Looking at my childhood And the ongoing fears. Not wanting my life to be this way, But on the other hand, Not wanting to see another day. Wishing I could end the despair, Wake up once, And have something good to share. I know life has to get better than this, And when it does, im going to think of times like this. It helps gain wisdom and insight, It also helps me know, It was worth the fight. You see, I know I cant give up, Its just not me. Sometimes I wish I could, But I know its not right, I wasnt born, To give up on a fight. [This message has been edited by Beth (edited 07-29-2000).] |

I'm very happy to see you dealing with your situation in such a positive way. You may have negative feelings, you may feel a bit lost...but you reached out with your pen and your heart and let us all have the chance to share your burden. Beth~~ I have learned that we can't hold regret or anger from the past....I did it for few years and it wasn't healthy,,,,You can survive happily.....it is up to you....One of the biggest mistakes in my life is thinking I could find happiness in other people....then one day I said you know I have to make me happy and when I make mistakes they are my mistakes and I have to live with them as long as I am happy...So chin up and look into your heart....that is where happiness lives..... ~JulieAnn, I can understand where your coming from literally. For many years I have dwelled on sadness and the tragic things that have happened to me. However, times have been changing and although i am no longer dwelling getting the pain out in my words helps alot. Not only that it reminds me of the things that I have learned...Anyhow thanks for your reply~ |
