your listening twin ... where time and space meet as one hidden folds of the universe open upon a whimsical wish of a child's deep dreams gold dust follows the finger of those willing to chance a look into the great abyss and dare the neverending fall unlock the darkest mysteries with a thought from the heart sent across the blackness on a comet's wings of ice burning away year after year 'round fiery helium spheres 'til it gives water no more to the nothing's unquenched thirst with a whisper, the black hole sighs succumbing to powers so great the wanting, strong as ever opens blackness to the light send along to your listening twin a message of old hope's wish far on the other side of space sent in a bottle of nova's blood fancy a journey to see twin's face a mirror's trick not being played the other you, you've never seen the other you, you've always been M.A. Miller 07.27.00 My calling before me, let quill be my offering; For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive. M.A., the concept of a "listening twin" plays magic upon even the most stoic of hearts. This is lovely reverie, my friend. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

MA you got the cosmic energy of the galaxies going for you here. The first of those black holes is somewhere beyond Andromeda is'nt it. Somewhere in the middle of one of the Crab Nebulas where energy is transmitted into another form and dumped into the black hole. Travelling at the speed of light (maybe different in the open vacuum of space) you may get to see your twin several thousand years from now.... but like your poem says it will be "the other you, you've never seen, the other you, you've always been. I love it, you can't change that no MATTER what...great poem...such wonderful imagination.. |
