The Shadow Of the Rainbow

Confusion is her land
questions rule her mind
defeated by the distance
All alone and left behind

She builds an ivory tower
surrounded by frost and snow
and places upon her head
the crystal tiara, that will show

Everyone who seeks her
that she's hidden the feelings away
and frozen them forever
in a hidden place, to stay.

And far beyond the heavens
in another memory
she looks back over her shoulder
to see who she can see

But the star is now fading
though a spark glimmers still
shining through the darkened realms
protected by strength and will

And so the icy princess sits
Locked up inside her Tower
And her heart can only melt
with the cherished golden power, of
The shadow of the rainbow.
