it's so warm in here your white sheets and brown eyes and everything I need across the bed you watch me writing poetry for your curious mind beautiful things float through my fingers on the page they fall like angels with a second chance and I love you... it's been so long now white sheets no longer offer warmth there is only solitude thick and infinite and I dream of the nights when you would ask me to write beautiful things when your brown eyes were close enough to feel watching me my only inspiration when you are so far away... |
