I arose early to greet the morning sun, Yet it was your warmth that made the day new. I inhaled the fragrance of a flower, And all I could smell was you. I listened to a gentle shower, But your words filled the rain. I watched the swaying of the trees, They softly spoke your name. I strolled along the silky beach, Watching the mighty crashing waves, But it was thoughts of your tenderness, That took my breath away. As the moon began to say good evening, And appeared so huge and bright, I smiled as I continued walking, For it was images of you that lit my path. And now as I lay upon my pillow, And slowly close my eyes, It will only be dreams of you, That craddle me through the night. [This message has been edited by juliet_2u (edited 07-27-2000).] |

Mark, I'm sorry to say but a love long past, but still in my heart. And they say time heals all wounds, over 20 years now and still waiting. Thanks for your kind words, Juls |
