I wish I didn't understand This emptiness I wish she was here to hold my hand For a moment I wish my son could look at me With his 2 year old eyes A question on his mind... It's kinda hard to understand But I miss her perspective Her female point of view The next time that I hold her hand I will tell her she's an angel I will tell her everyday... I hope that she will understand When I get home That I'll want to sleep in my son's bed Just for a night or two I hope he doesn't comprehend How long this has been But I hope that he will understand 'Cause I want to be a great dad But it's hard From a thousand miles away...
