FEARS

Dedicated to Samantha: Never be in a hurry to grow-up!

The one thing that I fear the most

Is not some stupid little ghost.

It's not boogie men in the dark,

It's not a shadow or a shark.

It's not a monster beneath my bed,

It's not the recess bully Ted.

It's not a witch, it's not even math,

It's this HUGE GREEN IGUANA sharing my bath!

H E L P!

Most of all... My neice Samantha (6 Years Old) is already more advanced on the computer than I am, and she has read it at least 10 times & tells me "Uncle Todd that is funny!" She may be the youngest "Passions" enthusiast yet LOL!

Thank you all for your input!!!!

Todd,
just when I needed to laugh! This brings out the child in one's self. Great piece.

Wanted to share a thought with you....my daughter, she is 9, asked if she could read a poem here last night....as you know most are not for young ones...I thought of this one instantly...she loved it and even wrote a few poems of her own last night...my writing never did that for her and I thought you may want to know that yours did   Many thanks!

As a preschool director, I am constantly looking for something to encourage young children to test their creative sides...This little piece is going to spark a lot of young minds!  Thanks a bunch!  I'm going to have the teachers read the poem to the children and allow the children to then create illustrations!  Oh, I love it!  Thanks!!
