First a corner Slightly bends outward To the wind that takes It's time and it's promise. Under the corner Finds a cheek of serenity That smile for which I have come from time. The first layer is free Of the strains of discontent Completing her tranquil state And owing nothing to me. The second layer lifts Easier than what was thought Like sheding a winters coat In time for the Suns love. Her heart races forth And touches my skin The first promise of forever And over me she has come. Her layers come quick Now nothing but two souls That stand before each other In an embrace that none can take away. What answer does this give What second did the world end Nothing really matters for the moment, Time stands, love continues ticking. [This message has been edited by Michael G (edited 07-24-2000).] |

Michael..... What a lovely picture these words paint as I read. But my favorite line is..... "Time stands, love continues ticking" This was great reading! Love received is equal to love given! |

This poem was so beautiful and expressed so well. I enjoyed it! Sauni Sauni :) Have you ever known the color grey when the nighttime finds you weak I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps |
