Urban Fairies--For you Fairy Princess :)

Urban Fairies,

Darting, dancing playing about,
but no green grass, not even a sprout,
Singing, loving, magic all round,
but no smell of sand, no fresh ground,

Urbanized by no will of their own,
the new race of fairies has grown,
No flowers, no clear blue skies,
the memory linger behind their eyes.

Happy they are, like you and me,
that is what is expected of a fairy,
But sad they are for loosing so much,
the burdan is heavy as such!!

Urban fairies, have you ever heard?
The very thought seems absurd,
But where else have we left for them to go?
Urban fairies... well, what do you know??
