Heaven can wait, with bands of angels in the skys one look at those tears pouring from your eyes made me feel so many feelings inside. I know that things have been tough but we should conquer the smooth with the rough Time heals these scars like a freeway full of cars lets go forward. The gods are bidding for you and me our love is eternal can't you see Fantasize with me. I tasted paradise with you like a child in a candy store I need more. We have been released from eachother but I won't slip away 'cos you know, I will never run away I won't look back, I want you by my side. -Rich- |

I know that things have been tough but we should conquer the smooth with the rough Time heals these scars like a freeway full of cars lets go forward. a beautiful poem, wonderfully written. ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. "Art is a lie which makes us realise the truth." Pablo Picasso "You do not destroy an idea by killing people; you replace it with a better one". Edward Keating ----- |

God I love this!!! It reminds me of one of my favorite songs by MeatLoaf, in fact I think I'll listen to it now! It fills me with happiness. Kathleen "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace." Elizabeth Barrett Browning |

~You know,...SS,..I have been reading lots of your poems lately,..and I have to say that I think you express yourself very well. I enjoy all that you write,...and it's sort of like a story following them. Now I will be waiting for the poem to come and say that she is by your side,....see,...that would make me smile. Wishing you Peace. Take care. |

You have a unique approach to writing. I enjoyed this piece! My favourite line: "I tasted paradise with you like a child in a candy store I need more." Well written! This is the first poem that I have read by you and I am impressed Take care, Melissa Honeybee |
