I Am I have known you now for quite sometime All I have is what I can picture in my mind I think about what lies so far beyond God, I want to be one of them placed in your arms... I am a child of yours that you have made And so preciously, Father, in your sweet name For every uneasy moment I have ever gone through I only made it, God, because of you... I've found that your love has made me as great as the wind I am strong, yet calm, with every day I'm given Just like the wind I can go from place to place As long as I am solid, God, with powerful faith... I am just like the rain so gentle and pure And like the rain when I fall I don't hurt anymore You've given me soft land below my feet Now, I wear the ground so well since I've been handed peace... I never knew I could be like the clouds that hang in the sky Because I never knew such love could lift me so high I cover the world like a blanket so soft overhead And I lie like heavens pillow so the angels can rest... At last when the sky is lit with the stars at night Then others will know it's because of God that I shine so bright I am like the light that gives way to those in the dark I now stand out, God, because of your heart... I am like everything I have ever wanted to be Because I have God walking closely with me I have opened my eyes and let my love come in Now, I am what I am because of him... Saun Sauni :) |
