A Silent Ovation
Do you actually know
why they were created?
The emotions of the universe
are what I speak of.
Their purpose and cause
are daily debated;
But why...?
They are all just signs of love.

The rain merely tears
of life so sorrow;
The snow no more
than a fluffy blanket of protection.
The stars are only
the brilliant promise of tomorrow.
They all promise us life
and relay us early detection.

The wind, kindly,...
yet forcibly, offers us power;
The sun showers us
with warmth and vigor.
The moon can only offer
a nite-lite from it's tower.
All are only offerings
of ways found no bigger.

The lightning gives us
a brilliant,yet, silent ovation;
While the thunder lends us
the spectacular applause.
These are just nature's way
of giving us motivation.
They are only trying to show
they believe in our cause.

It's as if each gift of nature is just for
us and no one else. Some see it or hear it
while others  Feel  it as you seem
to.  Beautifully done Mark, you have woven a
perfect portrait of Mother Nature in all her
glory~

Kit-you are too kind.  I do like the standing "O" though.

Martie-I am so glad you liked it and coming from you it humbles me.
