In my mind I escape this room Where silence is entombed In my mind I see the light On this perfect night In my mind I close my eyes Taking on another guise In my mind I dream of tomorrow Swallowing tears of sorrow In my mind I feel your touch The memory's too much In my mind The anger is gone Peace awakens with the dawn Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Jenn, Glad to see you writing of happier times to come. As you know right now I am an emotional wreck. Thanks for giving me this small glimpse of hope |

The mind is a very powerful thing. After the heart has ruled for so long, sometimes it is best to let the mind take over. Good expression of emotions here Jenn. Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley |

Lone Wolf, this has to be my favourite poem of all yours! (of the ones I have read) Hehe, sorry, I haven't replied to most of them, but I have read more than I let on.. *_^ I love this.. "In my mind.." I really think you should submitt this one for the book.. I like this better than your My Heart Hears one that u submitted (nono, that one is good too, hehe.. just this is better.. *_^) Loved this!!
