I trace my fingers on my leg
at just the mention of your name
enraptured in a gentle trance
I breathe your words
begin, rain dance...
beaded sweat upon my lips,
stoking fire's restlessness...
tasting sweet
desire's beat
crack the sky
with my release...
to rain
and rain
for forty days---
and drown in sea's relief...
smiling in remorselessness--
dancing in the dampened heat...

serenity, NO STOP THE RAIN DANCE!!!
Just when we get fine weather here in Ireland, other than the mention of rain this is a wonderful poem ebautifully expressed. Think you can do the sun dance for me.

why must we pray
screaming? why must not death be redefined? we shut our eyes we stretch out our arms and whirl on a pane of glass-patti smith
