I sat down to pen the poem of the love i felt in you To speak of the wonders in your eyes Or the timid smile i find The words i spoke of how my heart was broke over and yet over again Then you came with rescue and hope A well turned phrase to catch your gaze in the moonlight turned now to blue How low i was in my esteem how high you make me feel Now i live in clouds Up with the angels and you Yes I sat this day with my pen To capture your beauty and love To tell you of how i feel When i sit and stare at your face But my pen did not flinch Not a word could i pinch Not from my head or my heart or my hand So i sat and dreamed of you In a dress of heavens own blue We danced over the moonlight And into the flesh of the tune yet i awoke and of this my pen would not write As i sat in the darkness My mind formed the words that were true So on the paper before me The words it had emplore me we written "There are not words beautiful enough To be as beautiful as you" Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the roses falling 'Tis |

There are places inside our hearts - that need to be loved this much. ~jm~ |

Walter, What an excellent Idea for a poem. I have sat around before and nothing has ever produced a single word. I think you have expressed how I also have felt so many times. Very good and passionate>> LarBear |

Walter a beautiful and gentle poem. WOnderfully expressed. why must we pray screaming? why must not death be redefined? we shut our eyes we stretch out our arms and whirl on a pane of glass-patti smith |

How many times have I wanted to write the most beautiful tribute and been left with no words befitting? Too many! Excellent, Walter! You really caught the moment and the romance! |
