The night was lonely the cloud hugged the moon The cold all others felt in the street the urchin strode Young, dark with dead eyes He stared across the night hungry for his victim the worthy the superior The flash of the night The last light in dark awakening an urchins mind The prey was on the move The night was beautiful The day was past As was the glorious party were beauty had him The eyes of a princess held him now high above the filth In a place untouched No weight was felt on expensive boots floating as the cloud eating the moon The claws unsheathed glittered in headlights a prize waited in the night It was close the taste of him His beauty was in his mind her lips captivating hypnotic like a snake unprepared and stunned Fate decrees these men meet Fate take the life of one Fate can be cruel Is this all we feel Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the roses falling 'Tis |

dark cryptic weave here walter... excellent imagery... chilling and hauntedly lovely in its darkness who can answer fate's questions... take care jm There are places inside our souls - that have never been touched. There are places inside our hearts - that need to be loved this much. ~jm~ |
