hmmmm am not sure i understand the numbered line format, but whtat the poem writes is wonderful welcome |

hEart. THe number lines is from the version in the bible, you know how each line is number hence: So and So 25:13 or what have you. THe numbers really mean nothing in this piece except to hold to the original. thanks. |

Thank you. More info...I wrote this late one night in a hotel in Seattle. I couldn't sleep so I opened up the bible and decided to re-write parts of it. I found the Michtam in Psalms and line for line re-wrote it trying to keep the same feel and structure. Jaddish is a reaccuring Muse (I hate that word, but it fits) in my writing. She is the object of affection in the few "love" poems I write. Thanks for your interest. Any more questions, I would be happy to answer. DMP |
