~the day we hunted wizards~ we hunted wizards we didn't actually catch one but not for lack of effort on hands and knees we searched out their deep dark hiding places we knew they were there and of course as wizards do they knew we were watching but when we were very very careful not to make any noise we spied a few of them scurrying from hiding place to hiding place we were not successful in our efforts to trap chase or otherwise contain one partially due to my partner's extreme excitability whenever one was sighted, but I would add that they are quick wizards are... we finally finished the morning's traipsings with a well deserved drink and the bonus of watching a butterfly's carefree flight... oh the joys of being only three and oh the joys for me when into his world he lets me see Poets Note: if you replace a three years olds "w" in wizard with an "l" this poem will take on a different meaning but to this grandma and her little one, this day of smiles goes down in memory as the day we "wooked for wizards" [This message has been edited by Corazon (edited 07-18-2000).] |

thanks serenity, guess that's one of the joys of being a grandmother, you get to remember all the small joys of the little ones and they are even more fun the second time |

Why Corazon.... what a different hue your pallet when you write of children.... I like this color on you... even better than crimson.. Hate is a dead thing. Who of you would be a tomb? -Kahlil Gibran |
