and so I've decided to picture life without you millions of days I have spent holding onto something that doesn't bear your name anymore only a picture in my mind played thousands of empty times Do you want to know the truth? I love you that's it. I suppose I have learned a hard lesson from your promises and kisses it appears that something beautiful can be destroyed and can be too far gone to be repaired- me and you only shivering flesh standing on the frozen January ground being covered with snow falling infinitely too fast to be saved from the sun... |

Great poem. The sun will break through . . . LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
