Have you lost your way gentle bird?
Have you tried to sing, only to find
that your voice can't be heard?
Is it harder than you thought?
Are you having trouble finding
the things for which you've sought?

You wanted to be let go, to fly free
To go out into the world on your own
and see what you could see
If was easy for a little while
But after time it felt like a marathon
flying alone mile after long mile

Remember you are always welcome in my arms
To hold and take care of you
and keep you safe from all harm
Continue to fly gentle bird, fly so high above
I will be here waiting and watching
ready to give you warmth and love

Sven; Beautiful and so poetically lovely.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Aah Sven, if only we all had someone in our lives willing to care for us this way...  It is hard to always be the giver isn't it????
Beautiful sentiments my poetic friend

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....
