Once more
through the delirium
of a host
of panics,
that affect me
and make my
eye's sore.
The last sips
of a cold latte
that I swore
I would'nt have
that second one,
yet it's gone.
Listen to her,
how she groves
moves and
goes over
her words
that kill time cold.
How I wish
I hadn't put
my name
on the list,
the list that
will shame me
in front.
The passion fails
and replete's
my gut
full of caffine
liquid courage
to the rescue.
Time to fly
my hearts says,
but no,
it's time to
live my life
as I once saw
it in a dream.
That dream being
me and the words
I found that
give me strength
and hope for this
supple existence.
That I was called
upon and walked
up to the stage
and let loose
those words
I held so dear.
And that
not laughter,
nor ridicule
but kind applause
and comment
made their way
to me after.

Man, can this become an addiction.

I take it..things went well
very cool ...
our infamous California poet b-squirrel...

poetry readings.

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.
