            Commitment

A tongue has struck an inner shell.
A double ring cries out the bell.
Within and without pressure plies,
Echoes to eternity flies.

Resonating forever more
Nirvana touches every shore.
The common swell that rings for thee
Circles around and sounds for me.

Rippling over the common weed
And shaking loose the common seed.
Sending it on a journeys bend
Bringing it a forever end.

And here I stand in fear of fail,
Of holy vows and oaths assail.
Baptized in a common core,
Must with thee forevermore.

Yet still was struck the final bell
And now forever, rings the knell.

Wonderful Seymour! committment is just a word . Like the ringing of a bell it just sounds out there without invading the real desires of the heart.
But the heart is treacherous and seeks freedom, sometimes freedom from committment.
I may have this all wrong, however I tried..
Read you later........ethome..........

Seymour,
Sometimes, I wonder, if there is any one poem from you that does not capture my imagination....

and all the times I wonder, I come up with the same answer... None...

Wonderful work again, my friend...

regards,
sudhir

Ethome,
What I was trying to say is, once the bell is struck, negitive or positive it is forever. Thank you for the read and comment.

Sudhir,
If I have done that, then I am happy.
Your friend
Sy
