this book

this book i wish to write
no end to it, i might

just to start with thought and pen
   journey my way be sent

for the need of my progressions
be the flame of my reflections

with verse and phrase to scribe
   please infest my mind's eye

but when players come to play
without script, they've nothing to say

with this i've turned obsessed
but to finish, i'll be blessed

this book i wish to write
nary gives up without the fight

the dread of my regression
forms the pit of my obsession

with this book i wish to write

This poem could have been written for me, as well as all other writers!!!!! Definitely a poem we all can relate to as writers.
