One day as I walked up a road I knew how lost I was I knew right then Needed help from above So I prayed dear Lord Help me, help me I prayed dear Lord Help me As I walked on up that road I met a man right there His hands were nail scared His side was riven I knew right then who he was who he was I knew right then who he was I fell down upon my knees I looked him in his eyes I said dear Lord oh God help me And this is what he said he said And this is what he said Arise my child your soul is clean Arise and go on your way Tell one tell all About my return And sing a song as you go, you go And sing a song as you go |
