I awake...laying in your arms, I feel safe, No worries to calm. You kiss my cheek, And wink at me, Lifes no longer bleak, It what it should be. We talk of the previous night, I cant take away my stare, I hold you tight, You notice my glare. But nothing needs to be said, You know how I feel, I lay in the bed, And it all seems real. You have put a new faith in me, That life can be good, I never took the time to see, Like the way I should. Now that you know whats in my heart, Share your thoughts, Lets make a new start. I know your afraid of what could be done, Just let go, And makes us one. Dont say "nothing ventured" "nothing gained" again to me, Open your eyes and tell me what you see. I dont want to go, Without a thought, You may teach, You may be taught. Please just give me a try, If you dont you'll always wonder why. |
