Someone here may care for me,
Clutching straws, emblems of love, in gentile grace,
I am complete in the raptures of your sanctuary.

The ravens stalk the jagged edge of misery
As the sun dies in voids of glacial lace,
Someone here may care for me.

Monuments of your solicitude linger eternally,
Deeply rooted in my fabric love's tender trace,
I am complete in the raptures of your sanctuary.

A year of your absence seems an eternity,
your spirit in comfort haunts my vacant place,
Someone here may care for me.

Your letters angelically soothe the howl of lonely.
One song even harks your return, again finally face to face.
I am complete in the raptures of your sanctuary.

A path of rose petals will guide you into unity,
Where I will hold you in our sacred space
Someone here may care for me,
I am complete in the raptures of your sanctuary.
=========================
This poem is dedicated to my soul mate Roisin who I found out is returning home for a month after been away for a year in Australia. It is based on the style of the Dylan Thomas poem," Do not go gentle into that good night.

There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

Jan, yes she is quiet an inspiration. Yes I am now keeping the petals for special occasions. I am sure that the butterflies will soar on her arrival. Thank you for your wonderful response.

Balladeer, thank you for your wonderful response. I only hope I have done Mr. Dylan THomas justice.

Seymour, I have every faith it will. Her return will fill the void of loneliness, I only wish that she could stay longer. Thank you for your lovely reply.

Marge, thank you for your beautiful words and for your continued support. God Bless.

JulieAnn, thanks for your wonderful words.

Martie, thanks for your wonderful response, I thought I would experiment and try new styles. I am really glad that you enjoyed the style.
