This was written before I met in person, the lady I am going to spend the rest of my life with. Until that time we had only emailed each other and spoken on the telephone. Kiss me Kiss me Miss me when I'm not there Touch me Touch me Feel my hands with your hair Want me Want me Ache for my body to join yours Love me Love me Need me all the time And if you can't do that At least At least Meet me Meet me So we both can know the truth I know I know One day, someday, maybe Yet I'm afraid Maybe you are too Of what may follow then And still And still I know you want to meet me too I think I think That I'm scared you may not love me And you And you Are scared that you might? So don't So don't Spoil whatever it is we've got But Miss me Miss me Kiss me when I'm not there And when And when You are ready Tell me Tell me I'll come Till then Miss me Miss me Kiss me when I'm not there |

Rainbow Girl It worked out just how I wanted it to. Caroline and I have been living together now for over six months and we are more in love than we were at the start. We knew each other so well by the time we met that we had already fallen in love. When I wrote this poem I had an ache and a longing inside, to be with her, to hold her and to kiss her. I still do.....every moment that we are apart. Love is like the mumps.....the older you are, the harder it hits you! |

Tracie..there is so much more that I could, and will write to explain my love. But you are right, it knows NO boundaries. Whynot Thank you for your kind comments. And I queried the replies issue and it seems to have been fixed. |

When you are apart from the one you love, you experience a love so deep that a feeling of being together seems so real. You did a wonderful job at showing that being apart is not always a physical issue. Your love was continued and I am glad things worked out for you. Very well done. J. |

Jaques You are absolutely right. Being apart can be hell. But this was written before we had even met....if we were to be apart now I would be ten times worse!! Mystical I hope that you get the chance one day to find the truth. At one time I felt that it could never happen for me. But it did. THere is always hope. |
