Tearing her stickers off my stereo; The adhesive remained to mock. Not knowing what to do with her stuffed animal; Stuffed in my magazine rack. The CD she gave me, I snapped in two; Along with her stupid book. Pictures of us, radiating light; Thrown out in their envelopes. Speaking of envelopes, her writing itself; Gone from my memory. I don't remember her voice anymore; I don't let old pain off its knees. And what does that pain hear? What does it touch? She broke me; I still love her. I'll never speak to that b____ again. I'll never feel her itch, and smother. (p.s., I can't believe this place censors the word B(ad)ITCH -- I hear worse on primetime ... not to mention schoolyards, I'm sure) Mike, who loves perpetuating the myth that placing stars or dashes after letters makes it impossible to figure out the words. Hail censorship, the weakest weapon in our defense against brains! [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (edited 07-14-2000).] |

J.M., You inspired this poem, actually -- after I read the poem where in my response I tear into Cuddlez for no real good reason; it got me thinking, and wanting to write it out from the other side. Corazon, Glad you like the picture, and more importantly, the poem. Mike |
