I've often asked myself why you should love me.... My bad faults seem to far outweigh my good.... You understand the storms that grow within me.... Then touch my heart like no one ever could....... I seem to turn and run just when you need me.... Yet, in my heart I know that I should stay.... When feelings from the past come back to haunt me.... You tender love just drives them all away.... You're teaching me to love.... That's something that I couldn't do.... Love meant feelings lost and nothing gained.. You're teaching me to feel.... The way I've always wanted to.... Loving you is Shelter from my Rain........ Now every I stay this love gets stronger.... And every touch is better than before.... This path we're walking down keeps getting longer.... And every day I learn to love you more.... You're teachin' me to stand.... Alone, or with you, hand in hand.... Knowing that you'll love me, come what may... You're teaching me to fly.... To touch the clouds up in the sky.... With time, I'll learn to share your love each day.... You're so much more than Shelter from my Rain........... My heart is an open book ....take a look.... Pretty poem and tribute. Sounds like the one who is teaching you understands what they have set out to do and what it will take to accomplish it... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
