Her eye's have given promise To years of those whom have looked Wrinkled now with grace She accepts her fate Once and still beauty She takes her time, no more Giving to others her smile Of this comfort has grown One look into those eyes And you see the wisdom of life Tears that have come from hardship Strength close behind What brings me to her presence Might her granduer be so much None but my mother calls And gives me this thought. |
