COME PLAYER … Fingers dancing on white like petals falling from a rose; The occasional flourish through the dark brings somber sighs. Touch so soft, the wind hallows its coming; Tone so clear, creatures awing only hope to sing. Tempo's perfected form finds comfort in any time; Timbre's widened range stretched beyond limits. Repeat the passage of passion and desire; With hands warmed from the fires of love. Strike softly once again to fill the void; The empty space fills quickly with resonance so sweet. Now the quickening has caught its breath; The pace without fail comes to you in a flurry. Following brass leads, down corridors of invention; Compose through thought, impulse and passion.
