I close my eyes and see you here In my arms where i long to feel you Your tender touch, loves perfume Your eyes distant yet never so far Your hair the sands of lands afar How my dreams came to me In the light when they are tucked deep down inside away from me You talk to me through the mist i am touched deep inside my soul layed bare before your alter Do you see me in the night When sleep is hard to find am i there holding your hand whispering the lullabies to take you and rest your head for it is where i long to be Holding your hand Just a light summer breeze it will be in my dreams the fields yellow corns With a light summer rain is it merely your love i crave? Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the roses falling 'Tis |

Funky poetry in action her, I liked this it was very deep, powerful and held a lot of meaning . L.of.L. Tom . P.s. Have you ever tried singing this poem, cause I think it would make a great rock and roll song . Don't try, do or do not, there is no try . - Master Yoda - |

Across the distance, across the miles, across mountains, oceans, and seas ... the winds carry your words to here, they brush my cheek like summers breeze. I see you walking on beaches of darkness, I've read your words shadowed in pain. I know you taste your own tears, I know you hear the night calling your name. I've read of your sorrow your poets pen ... your voice ... your verse. Even in the dark, your light shines thru in your words ... your poetry, your gift to release you from the past's curse. Thru the mist ... thru the twilight ... I see you standing on the shore, hand held out ... heart in hand ... your words touch me like so many times before. Should you need shoulder to lean on, should you need someone who understands ... look out into the distance thru the mist ... see my held out hand. |

Really lovely poem(S). They were both a great read and for Walter hold on and dont let go. ( I agree with serenity-I think YOU have persuaded jm's muse to bless us with it's presence again. Way to go |

I do not often reply to my own work. But for JM i will make an exception. I thank you all for your replies. I am also very pleased janet marie has had her muse returned to her whether it had anything to do with me is a matter of debate but i would be pleased if i helped her to find it again. Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the roses falling 'Tis y |

A really beautiful poem Walter. Well done for finding Jan's muse. "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else" faster-Manic street preachers. |
