I can't explain you wouldn't understand how this cold dark world fills my heart with pain given up so much so little to give got a world to live ahead of me got dreams once lost then found again ain't getting caught up in your lovers game.... just too damn soon ain't given in can't live no more in a dream of lies taking what your giving just too damn scared it ain't really living but I've got my share silently staring at my bedroom wall hear your voice from down the hall it doesn't make sense that I should feel this way a friend and a lover they're one in the same there ain't no strings no hassles, or promised dreams just you and me together no questions asked living a lie or an alibi doesn't really matter when it's you and I I haven't got time for the life of commitment borrowing time to get my fulfillment breaking away into your arms leaves me thnking of a better tomorrow just promise me you'll understand don't need a little boy I need a real man because it's all I have to give no questions asked the only way i can live..... no questions asked though there will be others you'll be my friend and my lover no questions asked you know I could never be true even though you know I need you no questions asked just steal this night for now let it be right come to my place for a while I think you could replace my smile Julie :) |
