The Nightingale

Listen my sweet and the night will tell
the lullabye song of the nightingale
hidden deep within yon willow vines
moonbeam bright upon darkened wing
serenading lovers with haunting melody
alas, but dismay, she will take flight
with the coming of day.

I really loved that poem. I read it twice. It was more than just a poem to enjoy, it was beautiful. Thanks.

I enjoyed it very much. Thankyou, and welcome.

God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown
