The stereo blasting -
Guns n'Roses
interesting, thinking of guns and roses together
there is a line in one song
"funny how everything was roses while we held onto our guns"
If only more could really hear that

Plastic covers everything
As we try to cover the hunter green walls
with the freshness of sunbeam yello
we reminisce
of the days when Guns n'Roses were our idles
amazing the choices of young adolecence

The paint splashes
As I shake the ladder while almost plumetting
We laugh uncontrollably
unawaew of the mess we made
She walks over to me, smiles, and laughs again
The stereo blasting -

Hi Martini....

I had such fun reading this!

(Guns 'n Roses would be good
       music to paint to...but it's
       gotta be loud!!!!!!!!!)

Nice job here---but how did the room turn
               out??????

Life is but a dream...

I'm glad you had fun reading this one...

The room looks good, although there's a little yellow pain on the carpet in one corner
hehehe

Thanks

Jan I'm happy that it made you smile... Painting should always be fun.. otherwise it's far too serious.

Tracie, Thanks for the kind words...

Tom, I'm so glad you could relate.... Gn'R is something I still drag out now and then for a great listen...     Thanks for the support.

Martini, it reads like a frozen moment in time, still with a life feel. I really enjoyed reading it.

yep, I like those poems where you have fun doing something in life that you really don't want or care to do, but when you have someone to do it with, it's a little more easy. nice writing
