A golden ring still binds us to the wedding vows we made..... When you said, "love and cherish" I said, "honor and obey" A photograph, two hearts in love still hangs upon our wall..... We've shared these years together and for me that can't be all.... We let our hearts fall victim to the pleasures of the day..... We count on new possessions someone else can steal away..... When love is all that matters, Life holds no guarantees..... But I just can't give up on you, in the end you'll still have me... The years------have come between us.. We're like two ships, just passing in the night...... The years------have come between us.. We can drift ashore and rest awhile.. There's still a chance our love will be alright..... So, hold your body close to mine, Together we can sail into the light.. Life is but a dream... |

Bill~~~~ Thank you......I hope that maybe this will help strengthen someone who is going through the same thing as myself. We can use our words to comfort each other, even if we're strangers......that's the joy of being human! Life is but a dream... |

This really gave me chills reading it.....It brought back many memeories for me most still fresh... The years------have come between us.. We're like two ships, just passing in the night...... The years------have come between us..
