-This is a song for my band, hence the chorus. It is a piano piece, with some light guitar thrown in. Thrown Away At The Door Without Repentance Nothing speaks volumes like a cold alibi I told you so many times never to cry Fate is something we discover at birth So you can’t help change the story When your mind never had any worth Look into my eyes and see what I think Don’t you realize this is the way it will be Change was never especially fond of man For you to drink the wine is what I expect Did you ever really want my respect? Chorus: And nothing ever checked out right in this world Your search to be a star left you in a whirl Hurting what you least expected Thrown away at the door without repentance Binging on life at the break of dawn Thought you were in charge but you’re only a pawn Intimate feelings you never liked to share Something must have been eating away inside But to know what it was you never really cared |

I found this very thought-provoking LenMcC, I read it a few times. I'd love to hear the music that accompanies this piece. Well done! Best wishes, /Kit |

~Len I LOVED this! this was very refreshing and different to me. I like your style. I too would love to hear the music that goes along with this. I am sure it is just as beautiful. Take care. Amy "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." "Fate exists but it can only take you so far, Because once you're there It's up to you to make it happen." |
