Dusty winds picks up its normal pace, Birds go about their business, Trees are stirring once again, Falling leaves rush downward to take their places, Clouds motion to find water, Sun is the keeper today, In the distance I hear the rumble, It is a sign of arrival, Still yawing I get up to see what causes such a commotion? Nostrils flair up to the vague smell, Light does not strike me with it usual force, Insects buzz at me with their concerns, I look at them dumbfounded, What is the matter today? Hurriedly I rush outside, Chain of cycles have already begun, Signs of rain are everywhere, Land sends out a lovely aroma, Clouds have arrived with their baggage, Thunder joins the excitement As I stand motionless staring above Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

I love how you have captured the scene here especially with the lines - "Insects buzz at me with their concerns I look at them dumbfounded, what is the matter today? When I read fresh thoughts like this I realize why I love this poetic enviroment. Great poem! |

Xeonox~ What wonderful images you've tucked neatly into this piece. 'Land sends out a lovely aroma, Clouds have arrived with their baggage, Thunder joins the excitement As I stand motionless staring above' Enjoyed this a whole bunch-a-lot ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
