Just a little song inspired by fleetwood macs gold dust woman.....they inspire me so much......Enjoy.... < !signature-->wake up in the morning sunshine fills the room and darkness fills my heart did I just miss the last chance I had?? the sweetest kiss on the darkest hour repeating it all in my head go to the door bring in the morning paper we used to read it together betrayed by my heart is this the only kind of love I have to give? because you sure made a great lover yet still I needed more had to spread my wings and fly right out of there back in the recesses of my mind I remember a love of the sweetest kind now I'm on the other side got to move on doubts follow me everywhere I go they ask if I am single don't know exactly what to say no going back i know I will survive the trouble never seemed to pass us over hanging on like your stubborn pride it may seem funny to you right now but there is nothing more to say I have reached my peaceful shore you and I never walked on the water our life just kept getting harder and harder this is over baby had to pack my bags and leave with memories of the sweetest love to carry me through all the troubled waters trying to forget how wrong it was hiding my heart away lest it betray me again someday and i'll walk high on the water never look to see if you are there to rescue me just moving ahead coming out of the darkness I see the light light to get lost in some much ahead too much behind what is it I'm trying to find? I only know the Hole version of the song. LOL ok getting a bit side tracked. A wonderful poem, really enjoyed it. "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else" faster-Manic street preachers. |
