Just when ya thought it was safe, And you thought I was gone from here, I sneak back in to getchya again, Old LongJohn and Balladeer. Drinkin' beer for seven days, Will always make one "weak" But justa day of rest and I'm at my best And of course I stay so sweet I see my friend the sailor, Is back with poems so quaint, And Balladeer, (though a tad bit queer) With words so beautifully paints I miss dear Suthern yes it's true, Can hardly find the time, To write my friends or send some grins, But I'm doin' pretty fine Yall behave and remember old Toe, I miss ya all quite much, I'll visit soon, (watch for a full moon) I promise to keep in touch. |

This poem was cute. Since I'm new, it took me a while ( and some researching ) to figure out that these were real people you were talking about. Good Job. |

Hi ya gang! Hope ya all are just peachy! I see someone has one of my old class photos still....My hair's much longer now than in that photo, and my rag's quite smaller since I've lost some weight. Hope to be able to visit more often after another two weeks of hell, so yall hang around fer-a-bit ya hear?...Take care...and know me and God both love ya....(just kinda in different ways yanno)...... |
