Can you hear them crying? Can you see their tears? Can you feel their sorrow? Can you sense their fears? Can you see the heartache Written on their face? Have you walked in their shoes, The pain within their pace? Do you see their shoulders Round and so forlorn? Turning back to that one day They wish they'd not been born. Do you hear their feet scuff Dragging on the ground? Tripping over nothing They wear a constant frown. Can you see the texture And color of their face? Drained of all life's beauty Gray scars line their face. /¯¯\ /¯¯\ | ¥ | [email protected] \ Sheri / \Rob / Created by: Muad'dib \ / \/ |

This seems like a very passionate poem, though I'm not sure I understand it too well. Perhaps you can explain it to me, as I am very slow |

Yes.....I can....... There's a part of me that felt the heart- ache on reading this piece...but that was the idea, was it not?? this was a very mind-stimulating read......... Paint your words upon the eager waiting canvas of my heart.....~Sunny1~ |

I interpreted it as a description of post-war victims like the Kosovans...people who have nothing but worries and feel nothing but pain and fear. Anyhow, whatever you were trying to depict, it is a very well written piece!! Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication.
