Let Me Live Again

Dance with me
under the moonlight
while star light glistens off your skin

Read me poetry
as I let my head
lay resting upon your comforting chest

Whisper my name
as the sound of your voice
drowns out all confusion in my head

Tell me you love me
as we take each other
to new heights of passion here tonight

Trust me
and I will trust you
with all that I have and all that I am

Heal me
with your tender touch
and in your love let me live again

To love means never to be afraid of the windstorms of life: should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings. ~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Hi, Ruth

Its been awhile since I've seen any of your poetry.  I knew I was missing something, now I know what it was.  I hope life is finding you happy and well.

Thanks everyone for your warm words. I do so miss all of you and wish I had more time and a back that would cooperate so I could be here more often. I recently submitted a manuscript for a book of poems to 5 different publishers so keep your fingers crossed for me

Ruthie (old pal, old buddy, old friend, old future benefactor) - A book?  With lots of Barnes & Nobles book signings, maybe movie rights??  Err, ahhh... yanno, when everybody else was really hard on you, I was your most trusted ally - do you remember that?  Naturally, I did all of that without a single thought of profit (although I have been destitute for many months since sacrificing all I had to follow you in your writing career).

Here's "Good Luck" - I hope the publishers get into a bidding war.

Hugs

Hoot I do believe that there is healing for our heart and soul in the tender loving touch of someone who cares for us..
I hope and pray that our Heavenly Father will pour his healing oil on you and take you in his arms and love you...Take care, James

Ah my friend Ruth, what a simply lovely piece you have here...with work like this, all good fortune will come your way.  You make it look far too simple, my dear.

Hoot Owl,

This is simply beautiful my friend!!  Sounds like you are learning just how to do that.
