He comes to her in a blaze
   of summer sunlight
Offering his scotch taped
   heart
To her tender touch and
   whiskey warm kisses

She comes to him in shades
   of mist and lavendar
Straight into his warm
   embrace
A haven for her love
   bruised soul

All their pain sighs down
   to nothing
When they hold each
   other close
Here at last their
   hearts remain
Here at last their
   souls come home
Wrapped in colours of
   loves rainbow
Faith and trust and
   hope
