Condemned To Solitude

Me and my thoughts, my darkness and rain,
yes those dull days came to haunt me again,
dreams of good faith, flushed down by my side
hopes for good times cry aloud while I stride.

Someone have mercy on my ill fated self.
Someone please read me from my old dust filled shelf.
Why was it me and why's it still there,
the haunting of solitude, the darkness is here.

I feel I am loosing my talent to love,
my shiver's keep aching, my dreams far above.
But when I wake up, and my clouds disappear,
the dull shadows haunt me, they're felt, they appear.

So cruel this solitude, so lonely this night,
I'm losing my vigour, to sit up and fight.
Please find me somebody with whom I can share,
before I fall down in the dungeons of despair.

Welcome to passions Michel..
this is a well written emotional poem...
sad and dark in its beauty and expressions.
I took a quick look at your webpage...
I really liked Night Thoughts and Confusion..
I will go back and visit more as time allows.
nice to meet you, I look forward to more of your work.
take care

Welcome to Passions!!
A powerfully sad piece to enter with,
written with emotion so deep you could
easily drown in it.  My hope is that you
have found the healing touch of poetry
as well have you have found your gift
to weave these words.Thank you so much for
sharing this piece~

Never have I read a poem that i have been so in tune with. I cant even begin to describe the feelings and emotion you brought to me while reading your poem. I admire you greatly
for the talent and the joy that you brought to me

Blessed Be,
Beth

Welcome to Passions, nicely writ my friend.

MIchael I can certainly relate to this one.
Welcome to Passions, a great entrance. I look forward to more from you.
