Heaven's Tears

When life around you
doesn't seem all that sweet
When approaching a new day
brings forth all your fears
When the petals of your heart
have no sun to greet
You find yourself wishing
for a drizzle of heaven's tears

When love turns to pain
hidden deep within the soul
When trust is shattered
by the one you hold dear
When chambered walls
resist your life's goal
Reach for the stars praying
for a mist of heaven's tears

Lift your head high
pay attention to the wind
Have faith in your new path
blaze it full of cheer
For as you glance forward
from the sky it descends
Not a drizzle nor even a mist
but a downpour of heaven's tears

Mark, very well written, what a lovely thought of hope.  I think that everyone at some point in their lives needs a bit of heaven's tears to wash away the pain.  Beautiful imagery

Take care,

The imagery in this poem is great. I could almost see the drizzle and mist. A great message of indestructable hope.

Mark, your poem made me think of this verse, I don't recall who wrote this but it is quite lovely

Sudhir-it is always such a pleasure to have your words of praise.  I am in your fan club and fail to comparison. I read every post you put up and though I may not respond to them all it is because you leave me in awe and I search for words to your "MASTERPIECES"
forever a fan

~Mark,...no you're not going crazy, haha, well like you said,...atleast not alone.  I actually posted a poem yesterday? I think, (hehe, my head is weary) it's titled On The Tip Top, in Dark #2 and it's got some whispering to the wind and waiting for it to whisper back sort of in it.  So,...you see, I really do pay attention to it. Cool poem once again. Take care. *Peace.

Mark, heaven's tears are falling right now. Isn't it amazing how fresh and new everything seems afterwards? Even hearts.
